Shilpa Shetty has brushed off claims she was called a ‘Paki’ in the Big Brother house.
Police are investigating claims that Shilpa Shetty was twice called the name in unseen footage of the show.
But the Bollywood star told Kay Burley in a world exclusive interview: “We still don’t know if that’s true - so I would like to reserve comment on that one.”
According to reports in The Sun newspaper, a Big Brother informant has spoken to police and was quizzed for 90 minutes.
The paper says Hertfordshire police have asked to see the tapes of the show, but bosses deny the footage exists.
A Channel 4 spokeswoman has told Sky News: “We have not been contacted by the police about this matter or seen a copy of the handwritten note that we understand has been passed to them.
“The producers have checked the editorial log and assured us there is no evidence of the word alleged in the note ever being used by any of the housemates.”
