Miss Shetty’s career is being managed by her mother Sundanda Shetty and the showbusiness fixer Max Clifford, the man who helped Simon Cowell break the US and make in excess of £100 million doing so.
Yet it appears Miss Shetty’s all-powerful mother is not satisfied just with the prospect of her career being boosted.
She is apparently after something a lot more permanent for her daughter.
Sundana has flown over (from India) with the express purpose of finding Shilpa a suitable husband – someone who is very wealthy, and of Indian descent, who will seal the family’s future wealth.
Sundana is of the opinion that Shilpa has already left it too late and must act fast capitalising on her appeal if she wants to find a man.
