Subhash Ghai, the showman of the industry, earned the tag and respect over the years by delivering hits like ‘Karz’ , ‘Vidhaata’, ‘Hero’ ‘Karma’, ‘Ram Lakhan’, ‘Saudagar’, ‘Pardes’ ,’Taal’ etc. And now, he is trying his level best to make his new musical 'Yuvvraaj' a success....

The final major selling point of the movie is the music (Ofcourse, its a Subhash Ghai's Film) and it ought to be. Firstly the legendary A.R.Rahman is composing the music (after Taal and Kisna) with the great lyricist Gulzar. This combo can only enhance our expectations !!!

Came across a site which has wallpapers and other interesting trivia of this movie.. Check out

The soundtrack of 'Yuvvraaj' is concerned, it is not likely to make its place in the first listening. Need to have an ear for the compostions created. Certainly not of the level that the soundtrack of 'Taal' (a brilliant score till date and nothing to beat in its category of compositions, the beats, the rhythm, the melody and what not) enjoys.

Its a higher level in its compostiion.

The compositions are quite exclusive and far ahead of the normal soundtarcks we get to hear, for an average music lover.

Basically, the musical score is like an opera , say the first Indian opera to the world, grand and royale. This could come but naturally from the maestros and a great combination of Subhash Ghai and A R Rahman. It is a symphony with some great orchatrisations never could have been assembled before.

One needs to reach to a level of that stature to enjoy and value the compositions of 'Yuvvraaj' to feel the richness, grandness of the score.

Mastam Mastam is a trypical Rahman number.

Compostions are loaded with lyrics of great brilliance by Gulzar ji in all its simplicity to spread the message of love to the people all over, across the boundaries I mean.

'Dil ka Rishta' stands out as the best composition, I feel, as one would expect from the combination of Subhash Ghai and A R Rahman. It has some great lyrics and an orchestration to make it a grand track in its treatment. Should be a grand finale sort of in the film. It must have some great visuals too to picturise such a massive score the way it has been scored. The most obvious score one would expect from the combination.
Deserves stadning ovation.

Manmohini Morey is great in effect and it grows on you. It is something not heard before as normally a traditional song is with tabla etc but a unique and very effective treatment given by the maestro with some great vocals and rhythm. No parallels.

It is felt that the picturisation with visuals of a typical Subhash Ghai treatment should enhance the value of the musical scores by great proportions. A grand visual treat with some superb performances, direction.

Look forward to some great visuals picturised in Austria and Prague as reported in the sections of media.

On the whole, first of its kind treatment in the music arena in the Indian Music Industry, I feel. It has an international feel and appeal. Must be liked the world over. Its like a clarion call to the world, listen to an Indian Symphony, here we come and this is our grand presentation of a symphony not conducted so far with emotions, love, feelings from the land of abundant love i.e. India.

I salute to the great maestros, the brilliant conductors of symphony orchestra - Subhash Ghai and A R Rahman. A dynamite combination.

All the very best to the team of 'Yuvvraaj' !
