Earlier, the actor who was better known for his second name than his acting abilities has proved his critics wrong by bagging a strong project in his name. For Ritesh Deshmukh, the success of his comic act in Apna Sapna Money Money seems to have worked wonders for him as he recently signed a V. Shantaram production’s film.
The production banner in the name of the legendary V. Shantaram is being head by his grandson Chaitanya Shantaram who signed Ritesh in a negative role for the first time. There are talks that Anil Kapoor is being considered for a role of an executive rank in the film.
The film is to be directed by E. Niwas, who is also directing Ritesh Deshmukh in a comedy De Taali.
