The album of ‘Horn Ok Pleassss’ is all set to let you hear it. With Lalit Pandit on the musician’s chair and various lyricists on poet’s chair, let’s check it out whether it’s a worthy soundtrack or not…
1): Pom Pom Pom (Neeraj Shreedhar)
Neeraj Shreedhar starts the album with ‘Pom Pom Pom’. With an ordinary style of crooning, the song does not appeal with the lyrics (by Sajid and Farhad) and music by Lalit Pandit as well. Skip it.
Rating: 1/10
2): Pom Pom Pom (Neeraj Shreedhar) – Remix
The remix is so bring that you like to go for the next track.
Rating: 1/10
3): Nathani Utaro (Sunidhi Chauhan and Toshi)
Toshi begins the show beautifully but it is Sunidhi who gets behind the mike for the entire number. She is wonderful with sharp vocals. Rakhi Sawant appears in the visual of this item number. She shakes the hips classically. Nana and Muzammil too make the appearance.
Rating: 7/10
4): Nathani Utaro (Sunidhi Chauhan and Toshi) – Remix
The remix version is a letdown and spoils your magic you got from the original.
Rating: 1/10
5): Ayela Ayela (Sudesh Bhonlse and Bela Shende)
Sudesh Bhonsle and Bela Shende croon ‘Ayela Ayela’ brilliantly. The lyrics by Sajid and Farhad aptly fit to the mood. The composition is great to hear. The video starring Nana and others is appealing.
Rating: 7/10
6): Love Me Baby (Shilpa Rao)
Shilpa trills ‘Love Me Baby’ with aplomb but is disappointed with the lyrics and music, which are mundane.
Rating: 2/10
7): Oya Oya (Shilpa Rao and KK)
Shipla teams up with KK this time around to warble the lines. Both attract with their renditions. But again the poet (Salim Bijnori) and the composer do not come to the vocalists’ rescue. A poor work by the lyricist and the musician certainly ruins the song’s values.
Rating: 1.5/10
8): Awaaj Kunacha (Nana Patekar and Jaywant Wadkar)
Nana Petakar is all set to impress his fans with his singing. Yes, he does attract them. So does the fellow singer Jaywant. The lyrics by Sheirang Godbole are well penned. The music is scored with conviction. A good song to wind up the album.
Rating: 7/10
Conclusion:
Only two or three songs are worth hearing, the rest of the album is like a poison.
Overall Rating: 2.5/10
