The film stars the strapping actors Hindi parallel cinema and commercial celluloid ranging from Naseeruddin Shah, Om Puri, Gulshan Grover to the famous gorgeous model-VJ Laila Rouass. The movie also features a Pakistani actor Mikaal Zulfikar. The music of this flick has been composed by John Altman.
This venture is a fictional saga based on London Police order to shoot suspected terrorists after the July 7, 2005 London bombings, which resulted in racial profiling.
‘Shoot on Sight’ is a thrilling drama, which unzips the chaos in the life of Tariq Ali (a Muslim police officer in Scotland Yard). Born in Lahore, Commander Ali is married to an English woman. He has given the tak to investigate the police shooting of a suspected Muslim terrorist in the London Underground.
He is distrusted by both his superiors in police department and his fellow Muslims. Soon he finds that his inquiry is being hampered from all sides. When evidence surfaces pointing to the slain man’s innocence, as well as the existence of a terrorist cell operating in his own backyard, Tariq faces the realization that sometimes, the right decision emerges as the hardest one to make.
