As reported earlier, Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan is currently admitted in hospital and undergoing tests but he is expected to make a full recovery.
Talking to the media present outside the hospital, his son Abhishek said, “My father has intestinal problems and is doing well now. He is responding well to the medicines. My father will remain in hospital for the next 48-72 hours and I thank all his fans and you journalists for being supportive of our family at this juncture.”
Amitabh’s pain began on Friday night, the night before his 66th birthday. There were no celebrations planned by Amitabh this year as he and his family are still mourning the passing away of Amitabh’s mother Teji Bachchan.
