Shahid Kapoor, who is acting with Rani Mukherji in an untitled Yash Raj Film being directed by debutant Anurag Singh, is in talks for another film with the actress.
The film starring Shahid Kapur and Kareena Kapoor’s friend-turned foe Rani will be directed by Priyadarshan, it will be a social-drama; and have his trademark wacky comedy. A source from the industry reveals, “Shahid has worked with Priyan in Chup Chup Ke. At the time, there were reports of the filmmaker and the actor not gelling well on the sets of the movie. The film bombed, and they never worked together again. But it now appears they have sorted out their differences and are discussing the possibility of coming together for another movie soon.”
The source further adds, “The film is said to be a thriller with loads of twists and turns. It is very different from anything that Priyan has done before. Shahid’s character will have shades of grey. He double crosses everyone including his lady love in the film. The shooting of the film is said to start by early next year.” Priyadarshan, however, denies everything about the flick. He simply says, “I am not aware of this.”
Shahid, where are you? No new pictures, this is so sad….what is so secretive about his role for the new YRF movie, can we have some on-the-shoot pictures? Its been weeks since we saw some new Shahid pics, so unfair on the millions of girls out there??? Where is the paparazzi…have the forgotten their jobs
