Movie Preview: Hereos

The promos of this flick are making rounds on all the satellite channels these days generating the interest factor inside the moviegoers to watch this film once it is out in cinemas. Undoubtedly with a rich star cast ranging from Salman Khan, Sunny Deol, Bobby Deol to Preity Zinta, Dino Morea to Mithun Chakraborty; the movie can surely drag the huge audiences to the theaters on the opening days. But after that, obviously it is the gripping story and good performances, which can make the cinegoers to make their ways to the theaters. Anyway, ‘Hereos’ is seemingly a power-packed flick with strapping storyline. So lets hope for the best and wish the film good luck.

Sunny Deol plays Vikram Shergill, who has burly personality. He is the man who is laced with the never-ending hope. He lives for the moment and stands up for social issues and causes. Patriotism to him is to dye for the nation and to do anything for the progress of the country. Vikram’s philosophy is to putt your sorrows behind and move on…

Bobby Deol enacts the character of Dhananjay Shergill who is a young smart lad. He is the guy whose presence is always missed after one meets him for the first time. Swathed with tremendous charm and affection, DJ’s (Bobby) battle of porting himself better than his solar brother is evidence of the child that still lives within him. But when there arises the need, the child inside him goes back and lets the soldier come out.

Dino Morea is Sahil Naqvi is that young guy who is found in every neighborhood. Since he is handsome, good-looking, sharp and intelligent; he could have gone for any lucrative career in life. But the enthusiastic lad chose to become a soldier.

Salman Khan plays Balkar Singh. He is a man of few words and loveable cum endearing. He is a soft-spoken man. He has pledged his life for his country. Like every man on the earth, Balkar too has prosperous dreams for his family but he knows one thing that it is not possible to fulfill them. So he does not regret.

Preity Zinta is Kuljeet Kaur, who enacts the son of her home. She is proud to be an army man’s better half. She is happy with life and the happiness goes high when she sees her son to walk on the path of his father. A loving cum caring wife, a single daughter and the best daughter in law, Kuljeet is the woman everyone dreams for…

Mithun Chakraborty plays Dr. Naqvi. Like every father who has one dream that one day his son will become a man and take care of him in old age, Dr. Naqvi too has this dream for his son. He is one such man who loves his son to death, yet has masked his feelings even after the vacuum his son’s absence has created. Like all fathers, Dr. Naqvi feels incomplete without his son.

Storyline:

In life, sometimes it happens that a moment brings about a big change. Just one experience transforms you forever. And it is just one journey that put you on the path that you follow it in rest of the life. Yes, it all takes place in life. ‘Hereos’ is the saga of one such journey laced with moments and experience, which change the outlook of two young lads.
The childhood friends, Sammy and Ali have taken joint decisions in life from choosing a school to taking up a career. Surprisingly they are not like-minded guys nonetheless they are together. And it is due to the factor that they both rely on each other heavily. It can be called that they are two bodies but one soul. An eccentric boy, Sammy is high-spirited and swathed with the uncanny ability of finding humor in the weirdest of situations. He is kind, sympathetic yet impulsive. Sammy is just like that kid who needs to fall to learn how to walk. Ali on the other hand is quieter and more mature.

The film is the story of these two boys who travel a thousand miles to deliver three letters as a part of their film school assignment. But little do they know that the journey they have begun to move on will appear as a new meaning to their life. Soon they discover the power within themselves to change lives and events that are of high importance. The movie tells you that the simple experiences can wake the patriotism inside you. It also lets you know the fact that to love your country, you need not to be a soldier.
