For UTV production banner, Rakeysh Mehra’s Rang De Basanti is a celebration of the youth awakening for the national pride and cause. In a way to link them together RDB will be re-released by UTV this republic day. The release will mark the anniversary celebration of RDB.
Rang De Basanti will celebrate one year of success this January as it releases for the audiences again at the theatres. Even last year, RDB was released on January 26th.
It is for the first time that a film will be re-releasing within a period of one year. The film will get to draw in audiences for only a period of one week.
