Priyanka Chopra is not known to throw her weight around. But reliable sources who were present during the shooting of an ad film for Sunsilk shampoo swear that she requested that the Mahesh Limaye, (director of photography) — who also shot her for Fashion — be changed.
A source reveals, “JWT, a Bangalore- based ad agency are in charge of the campaign, and they hired Mahesh as the cinematographer. When Priyanka learnt about the DoP, she asked them to replace him with someone else. She didn’t want to shoot with him as she wasn’t happy with the results of Fashion. Also, she has some issues with him.”
The agency decided to look for a replacement but couldn’t, at such short notice. Also the actress could not give them fresh dates to match with the new cinematographer, so eventually she ended up shooting up Mahesh.”
Vice President of JWT, Padmaja Chandrashekhar remained unavailable for comment. Mahesh says, “I am not aware about Priyanka having a problem with me. The ad’s director Parvez, whom I share a cordial relationship with, asked me to be a part of the ad and I agreed.”
