Kareena Kapoor’s personal invite from Christian Dior

Kareena Kapoor was sent a personal invite for the Paris Fashion Week by none other than fashion diva Christian Dior but unfortunately couldn’t attend.
Says a source close to Kareena, “The fashion week had designer John Galliano captivate Dior’s growing fan base of high profile, young, rich celebrity customers with an African-inspired collection. The invite boasted exclusive front row seats. Besides Kareena, the guest list included pop singers Katy Perry and Lily Allen, actresses Emma Watson and Eva Green, who sat in the front row at the show with the likes of former supermodel, Stephanie Seymour, Oscar-winning French actress Marion Cotillard and burlesque star, Dita Von Teese.”
Kareena however had to give the invite a miss because of her busy schedule. She is busy shooting in Venice for Sajid Nadiadwala’s Kambakkht Ishq. Speaking to us from Italy, Kareena says, “I was extremely keen to be there for Christian Dior’s show. But to my immense regret I couldn’t attend. I have been shooting in Italy for Kambakkht Ishq at this quaint and tiny village called Discenza, an hour and half away from Venice. I had committed the dates much earlier. I’d have loved to attend but I couldn’t. There’s always next time.”
A source from the Kambakkht Ishq unit says, “Kareena, Amu, Akshay and Aftab have been shooting for a wedding song choreographed by Vaibhavi Merchant with 200 dancers, for the last one week. They will be going to Venice on October 7 for the remaining shoot. Bebo and Amu have been catching up after LA trip and getting up early morning to do yoga. They are all staying at the Hotel Taipolo, a heritage hotel and are shooting at a beautiful castle 20 minutes from the hotel.”
