Last year’s Samuel L Jackson release Snakes On A Plane was made in an innovative way. The makers started a blog and asked cinegoers to send in their ideas for cool dialogues and interesting endings for the film.
On similar lines, Anurag Kashyap has caused quite a stir in the cyber world by starting a blog (passionforcinema.com) for his film No Smoking and has now launched a poster competition for his film starring John Abraham.
On his blog, Kashyap has invited readers to come up with concepts for his movie poster. There is no specific brief from the director, except that he wants participants to stay away from projecting elements of nudity and violence. Everything else is a welcome.
