Sanjay Dutt’s friend has accident, actor leaves music launch in hurry
Sanjay Dutt’s presence at the lavish music release party for flick EMI on Friday evening was cut short after a friend of his met with a serious accident.
Says an onlooker, “Sanjay Dutt was enjoying himself at the event with his wife and friends when a call suddenly changed his mood. He was to perform but could barely manage to say a few words. He was also seen rushing through the event. It was only later when he left in a hurry that one came to know what happened.”
A source says, “Sanju’s trainer Ramesh has been training Dutt for more than 15 years. He met with a bike accident. Hearing that, Baba became very emotional and urged EMI producer Sunil Shetty to wrap up the event quickly. Sanju was so upset that he didn’t even attend the post-event party. Ramesh is a poor guy. Baba admitted him to the hospital and is also paying for his bills.”
Sanjay Dutt’s close friend Sunil Shetty says, “Sanju was much harrowed that night. In fact he’s always worrying about Ramesh riding on his bike and had given him a helmet a month ago. That saved his life. The mishap was quite serious as Ramesh has cracked a few ribs and has broken his legs but is on his way to recovery.”
