STAR PLUS’ popular show ‘Rin Mera Star SUPERSTAR’ has been receiving huge accolades from the first episode that appeared last week on the channel. The show features the celebrity guests who are found fully enjoying the kids’ performances.
On the upcoming episode of ‘Rin Mera Star SUPERSTAR’, there is a special treat for the viewers since the coveted singer Kumar Sanu’s son would be there to allure you in full. And yes he did it. It probably is in his genes. But you can’t take away the credit due to him. His vocal chords belie his age. Jaan Sanu – merely twelve years of age and the son of the renowned playback singer Kumar Sanu – overwhelmed the jury, audiences and the celebrity guest for the evening actress Pooja Bhatt alike with his stellar performance on the second episode of India’s biggest talent hunt, ‘Rin Mera Star SUPERSTAR’ on STAR PLUS.
The person who got really bowled by the joys out of his performance was the actress Pooja Bhatt.
We saw the score Whitometer soar along with the excitement in the first episode of India’s biggest talent hunt for kids, ‘Rin Mera Star SUPERSTAR’. But with the second episode it just seems to be getting bigger and better. In the second episode actor-director Pooja Bhatt – the celebrity guest will be cheering and encouraging the participants to put their best foot forward.
“We all know that good things come in small packages. So, I won’t be surprised if these small wonders perform better than some of the current crop of professional artists”, says Pooja Bhatt.
Ananya Shukla, the eight year old wonder-kid from Delhi emerged the winner of the first episode of ‘Rin Mera Star SUPERSTAR’, with a heart warming dance performance. She not only won the hearts of the judges but the audiences as well, with an inspired dance recital. Moreover, her mother’s plea also worked wonders for her as she scored past other talented competitors to make it to the semifinals of the talent hunt . The upcoming episode on September 15, 2006 will see four bright kids, Sharvari Joshi (13) from Mumbai, Akshat Chopra (12) from Delhi, Jaan Sanu (12) and Priyal Sanghvi (10) from Mumbai competes for a semi-finals.

Produced by Endemol, ‘Rin Mera Star SUPERSTAR’ will be aired every Friday eliminating 2 out of the 4 kids in each episode. Two Semi final episodes and a Grand Finale will follow elimination rounds. Each show will open with the host introducing the celebrity guest, judges and contestants for the day to perform. After the performance round, Mothers of two kids who have qualified will plead to judges and viewers to vote for their child. Contestant who gets the highest score will make it to the semi finals!
