The producer Vidhu Vinod Chopra may have been successful in his last two films, namely Munna Bhai MBBS and Lage Raho Munna Bhai, but the director Vidhu Vinod Chopra is making a comeback with his forthcoming release Eklavya- The Royal Guard. Now, the producer-director is busy with his next film which is an English movie.
It took Vidhu Vinod Chopra 7 long years to dawn the cap of a director as Rajkumar Hirani remained his safest bet for the Munna Bhai series. But after churning out the multi starrer Eklavya… which releases on 16th Feb, he’s focussing on his next film, 64 Squares.
The film was earlier titled as 5th Move/ Move 5. But now, 64 Squares will be Chopra’s first English venture. It is reportedly a psychological thriller with an interesting tagline, “Two players. One alive. One dead. A game unfinished…”
