The known face of parallel cinema, Aparna Sen is back with her new film Japanese Wife sans her daughter Konkona Sen Sharma. Aparna Sen announced her next film Japanese Wife which stars Rahul Bose, Raima Sen and a Japanese actor.
The film is based on a short story from West Bengal written by Kunal Basu in which a man is in relation with two women. In the film, Rahul Bose is simultaneously in relation with Raima Sen and a Japanese actress. Again, Aparna Sen is back with a woman centric film. She has stuck by her last film Mr and Mrs. Iyer’s lead actor Rahul Bose this time as well.
Meanwhile, Raima Sen is gearing up to play the role in the noted film-maker’s film. Raima will attend an acting workshop with theatre artist Sohag Sen before she starts shooting for Japanese Wife from April.
