Rani refused leave by lover, Aditya doesn’t have the money
The problems at Yash Raj Films seem to be worsening to the affect that it’s lead star name, and girlfriend of the boss, Rani Mukherjee is being refused leave.
Starlet Rani Mukherji has had a tiff with her boyfriend and producer, Aditya Chopra. Apparently, she requested some time of from the production of Anurag Sinha’s yet-untitled film; she needed this for Durga Puja with her family, But, Aditya has refused to adhere to his girlfriend’s demand.
Says a source close to the production unit of Yash Raj Films, “Recently, Rani and Aditya had an argument when Rani requested Adi to change the dates so she could be in town to attend the Puja. But Adi didn’t budge and maintained that the schedule was a combination of dates of several actors and no alterations could be made.”
Adds the source, “Rani has no option but to pack her bags and set off for the shoot. She tried arguing with Adi to give her some time off, but in vain.”
All this is happening because of Yash Raj Films suffering heavy defeats at the Box Office with flop after flop. According to another source there just isn’t any money left in the Yash Raj bank to allow time of.
What are your thoughts on this… do you think Aditya is right to refuse Rani the time of… should he be putting his business before his lover… or is it now time for Yash Raj to ditch Rani from their movies and sign up a different actress… after all Rani has failed to provide any hits for them recently… we would love your thoughts on this… please use the comments section below to send us your thoughts on this.

I do not think that Rani is the cause of flops. A good script and a good director can still work wonders with this talented and beautiful actress.
And Aditya is right that other stars schedules are intertwined and he cannot make exception to let Rani leave for Puja celebrations. Certainly wherever Rani is she can carry out her Puja. Puja can be done anywhere in any pious place.

dating? I’m pretty sure it’s not true…so I don’t know why you have so
many articles dictating so. Why the stars hate you media wallah…
Ummm, who told you Aditya and Rani were dating? You need to
change your sources, yo….and it’s slightly annoying how you have so
MANY articles on this website dictating that the two of them are
together….
Its all nonsense
What short memories some people have. Compared to the dismal failures of certain other celeb actresses eg, priyanka chopra (LOVE STORY 2050, amitabh’s God Great Tussi Ho also starring Priyanka and Salman Khan, Bhootnath starring SRK, Juhi & Amitabh, Jhoom Bharabar Jhoom starring Amitabh, Abhishek, Preity) i believe Rani is still one of the very few actresses whose movies are still watchable. Why she is constanly slated for her “failures” (i use the term loosely) is only because she refuses to be roped into the media furore which some actresses and actors thrive on. She has not sucumbed to the latest trend of more-flesh-less-talent syndrome. As one critic aptly put it “bollywood has no place for a meryl streep and michelle pfeifer”. How true…although the scripts are shoddy and unimaginative rani still infuses such roles with passion..sadly this is not always enough for b/o sucess. Why bollywood would hail such rubbish as “singh is Kingh, Welcome, Partner, etc as hits is totally beyond me. These days the more stupid the story the greater the box office sucess (according to the indian b/o reports). Suprisingly these actresses (Katrina Kaif, Priyanka, Kareena, Ash,etc.) cannot hold a candle to rani when it comes to serious roles or roles requiring them to step out of their usual glamourous avatar. Even her “flops” are watchable and leaves u with a smile. Tashan starring Akshay, Saif, Kareena & Anil was total rubbish yet the media hardly glazed over that fact, mainly because these actors are not serious actors (except for anil). Why was Saif not slated for the failure of TPTM, Tara Rum Pum, Tashan, etc. or Kareena. I do agree that rani should seriously consider leaving YRF camp (big banner or not) and search for meaningful roles that so becomes her. She has truly rare talent, even kajol’s acting of late hardly comes to rani’s standard. Rani needs to change camp – in this business there is no place for friendship – YRF has become stale, their only success is masala movies (Bachna Heseeno) hardly left u inspired but suprisingly broke the YRF “flop” pattern. Her kitty boasts some of the best movies bollywood has made. i am positive their are producers and directors queuing to cast her, but she always refer to YRF camp – sadly they could be her downfall, even though her sentiments are good (loyalty, etc.) but i believe if she wants to stay in the game she needs to move & quick. For every 10 Katrina’s, Kareena’s, Ash, etc. there is only one rani.
