The season of electoral campaigns and wooing the voters for securing vote banks is the main agenda for the politicians now. Every time during the elections we find Bollywood celebs parading with the stars asking for votes from the masses. Banking on the star-power is not enough for the politicians, they also get the best crooners to sing for their campaigns.
Shankar Mahadevan has recently crooned for Raj Thackeray’s election runes.
Earlier, Bappi Lahiri, Udit Narayan, Kumar Sanu etc. have sung for the election campaigns. Shankar Mahadevan finished recording the song for Raj Thackeray’s political party at the Swaranjali Studio in Andheri.
Other singers who crooned for Thackeray were Shaan and Kunal Ganjawala. The music has been set by well known Marathi composer duo Atul-Ajay with lyrics by Wagshish Saraswat. The election tunes are composed and penned down in a manner to posh the Mumbaikars to bring a new change in the political set up for the governance of the state.
