LOL at people fighting over one Amul ad & poor writer gets blamed. I don’t know why there isn’t any censorship, since clearly us Indians aren’t open to change.
Akshay HAS acted in a Darr like role, in Sangharsh. He can dance better than SRK (Mast Kalandar), is taller, can act in comedies & with multiple heroes as well. Akshay can actually do action & not just for one remake of Amitabh Bachchan’s.
Like someone else said, he has climbed without the help of Chopra’s & Johar’s & now even those guys can’t ignore him.
For the dude who said Akshaye Khanna has two hits this year, which 2? And are you seriously, really comparing Akshay Kumar to Akshaye Khanna? Really?
Also, how many hits has your beloved SRK given this year? And how many last year? Oh that’s right.
I’m not saying Akshay is king or any of that rubbish, I’m just saying that if you want to compare both IMPARTIALLY, do that. Don’t just say one is the king & the other sucks, cos u like\dislike him.

srk nd aamir have been giving hits for the past 15yrs while akshay only for the last couple of years.if he continues for the next 5 years then only we can consider him as the king,though he is very good as of now.

I don’t know what has happened to everyone here. Why is everyone envious of Akki. Don’t you all go and see his movies and dont you enjoy his acting? It’s just the matter of time, today Akki’s stars are at peak and he deserves that. Moreover commenting about the advert campaigne of Amul, I would say that Akki is the hottest property these days and everyone wants to make profit out of it, why dont you all understand this? Oh, cartoon maker you have made yourself cartoon. Actually the success is very new for Akshay, while these KHANS….are enjoying these for ages, and Akshay just in 2007 just …. only one year success he wants to cash…..and that as well all media hype the films were not that brilliant either. And other actors have contributed as well, not only Akshay….. So, he needs to come to his senses. The way he is,,,, that doesn’t make him deserving for this title.

Akshay had 2 release this year one hit other flop and kambakht ishq wil not be release this year. Even akshaye khanna has 2release 2hit. Poor akshay despite desperate 2hav the king tittle and breakin frst wk record, the film fail to reach oso total gross. Come dec 12 akshay wil kill himself when RBDJ Storm the world.

He is much more famous than any actor in the arab world. his fame in egypt is as almost the same as in india! In countries like Russia he is also more famous than srk or any other actor. Even Raj Kapoor is more famous than srk in russia.
