Akshay Kumar signs up to work with David Dhawan’s son Rohit
Top comedy director David Dhawan’s son Rohit is all set to follow in the footsteps of his father, as he lines himself 2 plum projects.
The first is a film called Come On Pappu, which was supposed to be directed by his father, and is about a chimpanzee. The second, however, is a much bigger film and stars the current King of Bollywood Akshay Kumar.
A source says, “Rohit has been signed on to direct Akshay. It’s a Percept Picture Company project and will be made under Akki’s banner Hari Om Productions. Rohit is quite excited about this film as he’s a big fan of Akshay himself. The film is all set to go on floor by next year.”
We wish Rohit all the best and hope that he becomes as successful as his father.
