The noted film-maker has a different task at hand that is of directing an Opera in Paris next year. For Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s it would be quite a challenge to direct on stage. Not many film-makers have directed plays around the world. Bhansali is among a few of the geniuses. He has been invited by Paris’ Opera Company Theatre du Chatelet to direct an Opera based on the script penned down by a French writer back in 1920’s.
Sanjay Leela Bhansali is excited about his directorial debut in theatre and considers it quite a challenge to direct an Opera on stage. He confirms that his Bollywood films won’t be affected as his committed to his future projects. He will be directing the Opera in Paris from January to March next year.
Meanwhile, Bhansali is busy with his latest project Saawariya starring Rishi Kapoor’s son Ranbir Kapoor and Anil Kapoor’s daughter Sonam Kapoor along with Rani Mukherjee. Salman does a guest appearance in the film. The film releases on November 9 this year.
