Confirmed, no more Parvati as Kahaani Ghar Ghar Ki is axed
The once popular Star Plus serial Kahaani Ghar Ghar Ki has been axed, after 7 glorious years on the small screen.
We can reveal that the Sakshi Tanwar headlined show will come to an end within weeks. Star Plus have commissioned another serial from the Balaji camp, which will be shown in the same slot.
Says a source, “Star Plus is quite happy with the show (Kahaani Ghar Ghar Ki). It is just that the story can’t be stretched any further. Star and Balaji had a long discussion a few days ago, and in the best interests of the viewers, they took a decision to end the show,” our source added.

Thank God its coming to an end.
I just cant belive it i thought it would run for atlest another 2-3 years to complete 10 year’s,since seven years i am watching sakshi as parvathi in kggk on star plus,i dont know why starplus & ekta is axing it,i think they should give it a thought.
In way, it’s good but Sakshi should be seen in other shows, a fine actor that she is !
its beter 2 stop the serial..but also it is too sad because we miss the wonderful actress saakshi tanwar..and the actor kiran karmakar and ali asgar..like to see these three people together in another show..
I think the drama should be back in canada everyone is talking about it and they think it should be back because people are watching this drama for soooo long and suddenly it stops they should bring it back and i think its the best drama ever. In toronto moslty all the desi families watches it and they also rent alotttt of videos of Kahani ghar ghar ki and please tell the director to bring it back some how maybe same character but kinda differnt name of the drama…we miss it sooo mcuh pleaseeeeeee bring it back…
noooo i want it to come back!!!!! all of you haters dont know how good the soap is even if it is a bit surreal it was the best thing i ever watched!! edgam kapoor plz bring it back!!!!!!
