Age is yet to grow on this evergreen actor-producer-director of Bollywood. For Dev Anand, every passing year brings in new experience and ads zing to his youthful aging in life. The legendary film personality is now planning the release of his autobiography next year.
Like everyone else, Deva Anand has plans for the New Year. His work on his biography is almost done and is set to be published in print. “It’s more than 60 years of my life as a film person, my journey from a wannabe in the streets of Mumbai to the actor, writer, director, and producer in the studios…everything— all condensed in one book,” Dev Anand says.
The book will be published by international publishers which are based on Dev Anand’s long association with the industry of dreams. The veteran confesses, “I’ve been honest in the book. I had to be. Otherwise, I had no business writing my autobiography. However, I’ve let certain events in my life be ambiguously dealt with… let people draw their own conclusions. As for those whose names do crop up… I’d expect the world to be sporting enough.”
