Well, for the fisrt time ever, I almost agree with your excellent choice, as compared to the tp actress category. The only thing that i would change is to place Shah Rukh at no 3, Sanjay at no 4 and Akshay at no 5. KANK and DON were in general hits, it is only the media which had huge expectations of his movies and gegraded the actor accordingly. Am no great fan of shah rukh but if it was a hollywood analysis, he would still be no 1 based on his box-office history and consistency.
Yeah, great choice not to put salman in the top 5 as frankly he gave 3 flops this year. True, he has a big fan following but he is no great actor by any means, except that his movies used to do pretty well at the box-office. Not this year and for the previous posting saying that the 3 Khans should be in the Top 3, gimme a break.

I once liked the national awards too… as sunny deserved it for ghayal, and damini, but he should have got another for ghatak as i still feel its his best performance till date, and even Gadar he was fantastic.
Sunny is the only actor apart from nana, and ajay to get two national awards, but when they give the national award to saif for HUM TUM it really sucks and like always these awards are bought, especially since his mother is still the chair person of the censor/commitee board.
Salman khan definately should have won for tere naam but because he does not get on with the press they hound him, just because he tells them what he thinks about them and does not suck upto them like shah ruck or hrithick.

Well Amir did bother about awards when he didn’t get it for Dil and sunny got it for ghayal he boycotted awards and that is the reason he does not attend award functions anymore, As I have the film fare awards and both sunny and amir were present when they were nominated but i think amir boycotted for no reason, as anyone in there right mind would know sunny deserved it for GHAYAL.
and because of that its like these award cermonies are making up for it and giving it to aamir for raja hindustani and also for lagaan, when i feel everyone knows sunny deserved it for ghatak and gadar.

We all choose to ignore who is the best actor of today please note sometimes you cannot help it if the big directors are only willing to work with certain actors becuse they are good friends for example Shah rukh and Karan johar. Yash raj have now started working with a few different actors otherwise it was Amitabh or shah rukh the only one actor who has not made a film with the biggest director chopra and is still considered one of the best actors is Salman Khan this guy is a trend setter but has been brushed aside by the big directors and has had to work with directors who were not known and is considered to be still in the top 3 so all you people need to wake up and realise when or if this man begins to get the right projects with the big directors he will wipe the floor with all his so called competition. When asked to do a serious role like Tere Naam he produced the goods if you have not seen this film then watch it.
