The guy with charming looks, heart-hitting impressive personality, sweet smile and fantastic brain to deliver the goods on screen – Vivek Oberoi has launched a book ‘Rasha Road to Nutrition’ of his 4 years old fan named Rasha in Juhu, Mumbai on 8th September. This sparkling book is a series of 5 books consisting of the stories about healthy eating habits for the kids. Euro Books have published these rich in material books.
The books have been introduced with the intention to encourage kids to eat healthy and nutritious food. This has been done in a very practical manner where they meet various characters along with the principal characters, Rasha and Olive the doll.
On the book launch, the brawny guy feeds the kitty, “It’s an interesting and a very fun way of teaching the kids. It will make it easier for mothers to teach their children to eat nutritional and healthy food”.
Since Vivek has a huge fan following and even he is laced with the mammoth amount of kids’ fans, he was very attentively heard by the children at the occasion when he recited a small paragraph from the book. His presence really made the kids excited with full of joys. A few, who sat with him when he read out the lines to them, found themselves so lucky.
Shalini Sharma, mother of Rasha, who conceptualized the book along with her illustrator & interior designer friend Shehnaz David who are based in Chandigarh, said “Rasha was feeling completely out of this world when Vivek consented and launched the book. She is Vivek’s biggest fan. It was a dream come true for her”
Further she added, “The books have been written keeping in mind the various food groups which constitute a balanced diet. Moreover, the message of healthy eating is brought out in the form of endearing stories, rhyming verses and songs. Colorful and attractive illustrations help the child to understand the stories better”.
The excited lot of the kids present there were dressed like fruits and vegetables. They also took the photographs with Vivek. Many pounced on him for the autography that the tender hearted actor gave to the sweet generation.
