The inaugural Radio Sargam / Talk Bollywood 2006 Bollywood Awards winners have been announced… and quite unexpectedly… it is Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna that has won the most gongs.
The Karan Johar directed film, which was not received as well as expected at the Box Office, managed to win in total seven awards. Abhishek Bachchan and Preity Zinta have been awarded for their supporting roles, while Javed Akhtar, Shafqat Amanaat Ali Khan, Alka Yagnik, and the song Mitwa, have won most of the music awards.
Bollywood heart-throb Hrithik Roshan won both Best Actor and Best Actor in a Villainous Role, for Krrish and Dhoom 2 respectively. After an absence of five years, popular actress Kajol has returned with a bang, winning the Best Actress award for her role in Fanaa. Arshad Warsi has been awarded for his comedy scenes in Lage Raho Munna Bhai.
In the most fought out category, for Best Film, it was Rang De Basanti that has come out with shining colours, ahead of Lage Raho Munna Bhai and Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna.
The awards were voted by members of Talk Bollywood forum, readers of Radio Sargam, and a panel of five judges.

Hello
i didnt like how wheres the party tonite won best choreography. DHOOM AGAIN was harder and awesomer. this is so unfair. but everything else wak okay. HRITHIK ROCKS
lol preity’s a fine actress, but she was sooo bad in kank.. you all sound like idiots rs…
Don’t understand the KANK awards.. but the rest is really good!! Kajol rox!!
SRK was more of a villain in DON than HRITHIK, coz HRITHIK was just a decent person who only steals in the film an imandar thief, where as SRK was an in and out villian.. apart from this everything else is alright.
i think srk shouldve won best villain and aamir or srk for best actor all hrithik does in krrish is action didnt like best actor award apart from that its all ok and i think ajay shold of been nominated
Hooray Preity won for KANK. If she didnt deserve an award, so nobody from KANK deserves it. She was the shinning star of the film. I absolutely loved and adored her acting in that movie even though, she had a small role. Go Preity
YAY goooo Kajol…the best actress eva!!
