Kabir Khan’s Kabul Express continues to do well at the multiplexes. Dhoom 2’s craze is far from over yet. It’s going strong at all the places. Vivah’s good run in small towns and cities continues. B.R. Films’ Baabul has been declared an unexpected ‘Flop’.

Mid-week top 5 films are:

• Bhagam Bhag: Priyadarshan’s latest offering is doing great business due to the festive mood of the town. The movie drew audiences to the theatres who wanted a comic escape during the holiday season. The film cashed on its already hit music and hilarious first hour.

• Kabul Express: It tumbles down to the second position, though it continues a good run at the multiplexes. The film banks upon a good script and direction, good comic timing of Arshad Warsi and Salman Shahid. The film in its second week has earned 3,31,66,890 all over with over 2 crores in Mumbai alone. All in all, it’s an average grosser.

• Dhoom 2: The blockbuster hit of the year continues to climb the ladder of success and record-breaking spree with mammoth in its fifth week itself. The film is doing incredible business in the overseas market and has collected 83 crores in US alone. It has earned Rs. 2,61,09,826 avg/ print in this week itself.

• Vivaah: Sooraj Barjatya’s home production has won hearts across the nation with the family drama and sob-n-sigh element. The film is a hands-down winner in the state of Bihar. The super hit film from the Rajshri Production house earned Rs. 1,50, 31,432 Crores this week being at the fourth position.

• Baabul: The disappointing B.R. Films’ production dips further below the average mark. The declared flop film directed by Ravi Chopra is proving to be a failure despite good performances. The film earned nearly 2 Crores in 2 weeks and is now in its third week running slow and unsteady.
