The singer is my cousin Hamsika Iyer. She has sung a lot of jingles. She sang a song in Calcutta Mail and a couple of songs in Karadi Tales. She has been trying to make it in the Bombay film industry for some time but somehow real success has evaded her so far. I always knew she had a special voice and that she was only one song away from success. I think her time has come and Chanda Re is the song!!

Beautiful song …very Shantanu …takes one back to the S.D.Burmanda’s era…who’s this singer?? cant really guess..she sounds soooo fresh and interesting..very nice timber..She is Vidya’s voice….Great choice ..

Melodious song in a long time and accompanied with a beautiful voice. For a long time we have been used to Mangeshkars and Shreya Goshal’s but this voice is a little different and yet refreshing. Glad to note we still have immense of talent in India.

Looking forward for the release. It has to do well.
