Melodious song in a long time and accompanied with a beautiful voice. For a long time we have been used to Mangeshkars and Shreya Goshal’s but this voice is a little different and yet refreshing. Glad to note we still have immense of talent in India.

The singer is my cousin Hamsika Iyer. She has sung a lot of jingles. She sang a song in Calcutta Mail and a couple of songs in Karadi Tales. She has been trying to make it in the Bombay film industry for some time but somehow real success has evaded her so far. I always knew she had a special voice and that she was only one song away from success. I think her time has come and Chanda Re is the song!!
