Last Saturday’s shoot of Zee TV’s much watched show Banoo Main Teri Dulhann was almost like a nightmare for the unit members. The unit of the show were shooting at Aksa Beach in Malad West (Mumbai) in the evening. The unit started shooting in the morning during low tide. But in evening the situation was completely terrifying as no one had an idea about the rising water level. The beach had completely submerged between 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.
The unit members had a tough time shifting their equipments from the beach. The main leads didn’t even realise that they were surrounded by water and the place they were shooting had by then become an island. Divyanka (Playing Vidya) and Sharad (Playing Sagar) were stuck in water when the huge lights fell in the water due to strong breeze on the beach. They were petrified of the electric current which could have almost taken their lives.

But which i hate about the film is Sindura she looks like a witch. she is the worse. But Vidya and Sagar is the best. In this film if you have not watched it from the first episode you won’t understand the film till now. Really to say i love Vidya and Sagar.

The serial is nice occupying story of Indian house. The girls like Vidya are needed as true life partners who can help and give support to husbands life long even if they do a mistake. Also Shivji’s belief is making it worthy to watch. It is even better than skin exposing films too expensive to watch in theatres. It brings back old moral cinema styles.

it is my favourite serial.i like very much sagar & vidya.they are hit & interesting couple in industries.sagar is a handsome & vidya is a very beautiful.so i dont mis any episode in dis serial.
I kind of agree with a few people’s comments. It’s like this. Imagine that you are a car and sindhura is a traffic jam. You know there is a jam, so take an alternate road. But you hit the jam again. So you try another one, and it ends in a jam….. and so on. A newer ending tale of traffic jams !! Dewaar pe sar peetne layak . Dewaar = Sindhura, your sar = Jam

This is the most disturbing serial I have ever watched of the 1000’s of serials or movies I have watched so far in different languages. After a stressful day at work, it is depressing to see a serial like this where characters like Sindura give nightmares. A bunch of us have already stopped watching this serial. It just shows that there is no place for fairness/truthfulness and clearly sending the wrong message. It was fun watching this when Sindura was getting back a bit after that ‘aunt’ character arrived. But I guess writer/director are so obsessed with Sindura’s evilness that the serial is back to it’s depressing state. I just hope the person who is playing Sindura’s character day-in day-out is still a reasonable person with atleast some moral values. I just cannot imagine how people can enjoy watching such serials. I know that some people will suggest me not to watch this serial if I find it so stressful but thought I would still make my point.

This is a response to BL AGARWAL, who commented on August 7th, 2007 that an American friend commented that Indians are “gullable and stupid” for watching or portraying the characters in BMTD. Has your American friend seen the obsession with the ridiculous and lude reality shows and daytime soap operas in the USA? Perhaps this American should examine his/her own society’s TV watching before commenting on Indians. Go Vidya; all should be so pure and determined as she! And, while Sindoora’s character is terrible, the actress does a fine job in her role!

This is the dumbest serial one can imagine. Very pedestrian pace of the story, unimaginative plots, uneven characters (Sindura eves drops on everyone, no one knows her plans), Vidya’s stupidity and naivete… it goes on. The director is just plain lazy in not having a faster paced story and in being more creative in the espisodes… Shows the sorry state of affairs in our TV industry – how bankrupt they have become in showing scheming women against other naive women and men.. Truly depressing…
Just out of curiousity, as concerned as Vidya is about her pregnancy. Why doesnt she get going so may be soon she will get pregnant. As Sagar has been portrated to be dumbest charecter how would he find out whether the “Real Pregnancy” is from the first annoucncement or from the second. Without criticizing this show would someone recommend which show is better. It be nice if the show has an ending date cuz they all seem to be going and going without an aim and thought.

Your drama is the world’s most insensible drama. I don’t get it Sindura always gets what she wants but Vidya rarely gets what she wants. It’s a bit unrealistic! All the actors and actresses have done their acting extraordinarily. But the writr, i’m sorry but the writer needs to learn how to write. Instead of Vidya the writer is ill-leterate. Please don’t make dramas if you don’t know how to write because this is drama is being extended way to much.

1. I agree with the people here who say that this is non stop stupidity. Sindoora can wire tap, set up web cams, stand outside everyone’s window to eves drop, but everyone else can’t even talk.. how stupid is that?
2. Have Sagar and Vidya made love only once? Sagar speaks to Sindoora as though that one time he made love to Vidya was how she could have gotten pregnant.. How stupid is that?
3. Aniket goes to Jail, Vidya is kicked out, and if you remember, Sindoora herself was release only on bail. Balwant had exposed so much. Still Sindoora called the cops and they came running and arrested Aniket.. how stupid is that?
I can go on forever.. They need to complete this plot and change the story line to something else.. how long can we take the nonsense???

Buaji was another moron character. For all the hype that she created that she was going to help, she got our manuevered by Sindoor as expected.. sorry.. Buaji did not really do anything in the serial except for the brief 5 day challenge, which was stupid.. ofcourse, the other stupid thing was the whole pregnance.. as though no one would know it in a matter of a few days. The problem is no one attempts to say anything to defend themselves when Sindoora makes them look like idiots and makes us look like idiots.
I am starting to hate this serial because of Sindura. Will she ever get punished. We should all quit watching this serial, then only director will wake up and punish sindura. This serial is getting disgusting because -sindura is only winning!

Banoo mein teri dulhan is a type of story that is going to take forever to end !!!!!! ( 5-6 years. which is a bad thing because i really want to know what is going to happend in the end. you can watch this exact same drama after 5 months and nothing will change the storyline will still remain the same old boring thing which everyone is tired by now. these dramas are way toooo long the director better shorten it up before it is too late. here are the dumb things that are happending in the serial
1. vidya pretended to be pregent which was a really stupid nad idiotic thing she should not have done it … it was quite a reasonable guess that everyone was going to get to know the truth within a few months.
2. when vidya was watching a movie on the tv with sunny deol in it with the phone recorded thing in it. that was a good idea but she could have just recored sindorra’s voice on the tape recorder nad then send the tape she made to saagars office.
3. why the hell is sindoora always having good luck whhen she isnt even a devotee to shambunath vidya is the actuall devotee by now she should have been getting all the luck.
anyways i agree with your idea guys we should all stop watching bmtd for a while and then we will see what happends.

YES i m totaly agree wt mina said.sindoora . i am watching this show almost from the begening, all the charecters are almost doing the same acting from last four yrs even the . But if we observe ” SHARAD MALHOTRA” he is playing to many different charecter from the begening 2 yr old boy,, then again a young handsome boy, then together 2 yr and 25 yr old boy’s charecter and last but not least now a ”BANARSI DESI BABU’S( GUIDE) charecter. Its is amazing , he is doing fantastic , impressive .Its seems a easy work, but i believe its very very hard. Dulhann, an interestingly prolonged version of Om Shanti Om. I have failed to understand why the director is so much obsessed with this idea of Vidya (and now Divya) suffering, and just suffering and still being a stupid lady to be falling in every trap laid by a rival dumbo, Sindoora… I don’t understand, why the director does not wish to let the Good win over the evil. I would like to suggest to the Director to make Divya, now take intelligent steps and trap Sindoora in the ways she did till now… That shall sure take the TRP’s high…

I used to watch the program everyday. But now, I may watch it once every couple of weeks. I like to see happy ending once in a while. But with this program, Sindoora even goes against Gods wishes. I was so happy that Sindoora had died, but now she is back and back to her same tricks. I think I am done with the show……
