Amitabh Bachchan did a voice over for Kolkata singer Indrajit Dasgupta’s album which has songs written by the noble Laureate Rabindranath Tagore. The songs have been translated into Hindi by ace lyricist Javed Akhtar.
Amitabh Bachchan was suggested and approached by Javed Akhtar himself. At first, the Kolkata singer Indrajit was apprehensive of Big B doing the VO for his music album as he had an average budget but after the recording session, Big B charged nothing for his job.
Amitabh Bachchan showed pleasure and said that he felt honoured associating with an album on the great poet of India, Tagore.
