Look at Anees Bazmee’s previous hits (‘Welcome’, ‘No Entry’ and others), he always uses his skills of making the entertainer in a very apt manner sensing the viewers’ pulse accurately. At this juncture of ‘Singh is Kinng’, he continues the same. Very high on entertainment quotient, SIK works big time in every sense of the word.

SIK is not a comedy in entirety rather carries comedy, romance, action and drama to give the viewer every ingredient to taste the delicious dish. But wait…don’t consider this product infallible, it too has its share of flaws. The director seems to be lacking when it comes to turning of the events but the brainy man packs the frames very intelligently that you do not find time to think on.
Lakhan Singh aka Lucky (Sonu Sood) is the King of the underworld don based in Australia accompanied by his cronies (Javed Jaffrey, Neha Dhupia, Manoj Pahwa, Yashpal Sharma, Kamal Chopra and Sudhanshu Pandey). In a tiny village in Punjab, India, where Lucky was born, Happy Singh (Akshay Kumar), who is large-hearted and notorious and causes chaos everywhere he goes. The villagers conspire to rid the village of Happy and convince him to set off to Australia and bring Lucky back. The happy-go-lucky Happy Singh fastens the belts and luggage and embarks on his journey along with his friend Rangeela (Om Puri).
The duo arrive in Egypt, where Happy bumps into Sonia (Katrina Kaif). He falls in love with her. Things take a shaky turn as he runs into a series of comic misadventures, which leave him penniless. In Australia, he persuades the defiant Lucky to return to his parents in Punjab. Entrenched fully in crimes, Lucky cannot leave for India. Lucky gets injured in a fight and Happy is offered Lucky’s place. Now Happy is the King.
After becoming so, Happy transforms the mean King into a clean King. The good deeds of the King turn crazy when the poor lady (Kirron Kher) shares her dilemma with him. Once a rich woman, her husband died leaving her bankrupt. As a result, her daughter Sonia (Katrina Kaif) has not returned to home for 3 years. Sonia has no clue of her family’s misfortunes. Happy convinces her to pose as his mansion’s owner while the cronies act as her servants. And once Sonia along with her beau Puneet (Ranvir Shorey) arrive, there emerges a real roller-coaster ride of joviality.

Biased review! where was the plot? where was the story? I love no-brainer comedies, but this was plain stupid. The jokes weren’t remotely funny but yes its gonna make a lot of money in the box office initially because that’s what it was made for.
i just hate the fact that the guy with my name was called an ass by other people during the marriage -.-
