Jiah Khan lets of steam in new interview
Jiah Khan has talked about her feud with fellow actress Kangana Ranaut to an Indian newspaper… amongst other things.
Apparently the two ladies have had a fresh spat… this time over designer Rick. Says Jiah, “I don’t give importance to such trivial matters. I don’t know Kangana, nor do I care! I think there are far more serious issues to talk and think about. Rick was to style my look in Ken Ghosh’s film as he suited the requirements. He’s not doing my personal styling. I style my own wardrobe. Why should I think of Kangana as my rival? It really makes me sick to read about actresses fighting over such small issues. Instead of fighting over clothes, we should try and resolve major concerns regarding our world and society. Quite frankly, I don’t have the time for such things.”
When asked if she was willing to cut her hair for the Ken Ghosh film opposite Shahid Kapur, Jiah says, “I have not cut my hair and won’t do it for anyone — including my husband! I have had long hair since I was seven years old and it will be my sole decision to cut my hair and not anyone else’s. I love my hair too much. If someone wants to change my looks for their films they can make me a wig!”
Jiah also refuted claims that she is upset with her role being chopped to minimal in the Aamir Khan flick Ghajini. To this she responds, “What rubbish! I have no idea where’s this coming from. Though I am not allowed to speak on Ghajini I want to clarify this.”
