Aamir approaches Karisma Kapoor for film with Salman Khan
We can officially confirm that both Aamir Khan and Salman Khan will star together in a comedy flick, bringing back memories of their super hit riot Andaaz Apna Apna.
Says a source, “Aamir has already spoken to Raj Kumar Santoshi about directing the sequel and the latter has loved the idea of Aamir and Salman together again.” One can recall that it was Santoshi who directed Andaaz Apna Apna in 1994 and how that film became a cult classic.
When a newspaper contacted Santoshi in regards to this, Santoshi stated, “In fact, Aamir has been talking about this to me for some time now. I will be writing the script. However, it won’t be a sequel to Andaaz Apna Apna. Let’s leave the details for a later date.
It’s too early to talk about it now.” Santoshi also confirmed that Aamir Khan will produce the film himself. “Aamir is a friend and a fantastic producer. He is the right guy for producing this film,” said Santoshi.
We can also report that Aamir has approached veteran actress Karisma Kapoor for a pivotal role in this project but the actress has to make a decision.
