By now you must have heard and read a thousands news stories about the so-called Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan war. But here are RS we bring you the real reason behind the war of words… and it’s a girl… as always.
Apparently, Salman’s girlfriend Katrina Kaif is now the numero uno actress of Bollywood with filmmakers queuing up left right and centre to sign her up. And at the top of the list is the biggest production house in India… Yash Raj Films. Head man Yash Chopra is already working with Katrina for a future film that he is producing… but now he wants the number one actress in Bollywood and the number one actor in Bollywood to star together… in a film that he will direct himself. Which means… Katrina Kaif opposite Shah Rukh Khan in a romantic drama on the scales of Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge.
Shah Rukh never turns down an offer from Yash Raj Films and is ready to work for it once he completes Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi for Aditya Chopra and My Name Is Khan for Karan Johar. Katrina has also said yes as she is being given a dream opportunity. However, Katrina’s boyfriend Salman is not happy with his girlfriend opposite King Khan in a major Bollywood flick.
At first he has tried to reason with Katrina to not sign up for the film, but she isn’t listening to him. He then politely asked Shah Rukh Khan to turn down the film, to which Shah Rukh also said no. This got Salman angry and the whole birthday party, which is where the fight took place, then became a stage for insults and anger release. Salman made sure that Shah Rukh was invited to the event… his plan was for Shah Rukh to get angry with him and then refuse to star opposite Katrina out of spite. However, this backfired and the whole situation is now out of control.
Once Shah Rukh noticed that Salman had bigger things planned for him at the party, he too started to insult him… by making jokes about Salman and his past girlfriends… most notably Aishwarya Rai. Barrages of insults then were exchanged before Shah Rukh’s wife Gauri Khan made her husband leave the party.
Few minutes later, fellow actor Aamir Khan intervened and tried to get the actors to make up. He took Salman to Shah Rukh’s residence Mannat where he played mediator. Salman said he wanted Shah Rukh to get Katrina thrown out of the Yash Raj project and keep it low key so that Kat doesn’t find out it was he who was behind it. Shah Rukh refused to do this and Aamir’s efforts were all in vain.
Salman then returned to the party and played his trump card… asking Katrina to marry him. He was hoping that once she said yes, then he would get her to retire from Bollywood and there would be no film opposite Shah Rukh. But Katrina knew this was coming and refused to give an answer there and then.
Now friend to both actors, Sanjay Dutt is wanting to reconcile the two actors and is willing to leave his shooting in Cape Town. Speaking from Cape Town, Dutt says, "I still can’t believe what’s happened. I am shocked! I am so glad I am out of all this. It would have been painful for me to have seen something that involved two of my dearest friends. I am very close to both and it would be impossible for me to take sides. Both Shah Rukh and Salman are like my younger brothers. I love them dearly and it wouldn’t be fair of me to side with one of them. I have never been associated with any camp. I don’t intend being part of one today. I am sure everyone has his/her own perspective; but what happened was very unfortunate. I am sure things could have been amicably solved. I will definitely try and do something when I am back."
Sanjay says that it was rude of Salman to invite Shah Rukh on the intention of insulting him. Says a source, "Sanju and his wife Mana felt that it was rude of Salman to invite Shah Rukh and then insult him. You can’t insult your own guest no matter what issues you have with him. If you have problems with someone, don’t invite him to your party."

i think salman is to big of a person to stop katrina from workig in a movie with his good friend shahrukh. i stil think there is a diferent story to it and i feel to hear this from salman itself than believe some website.

SRK is not a such typical stupid gunda guy like salman. He has earned enough respect from the world n the industry. Something must have went wrong. according to me , salman should not have invited shah rukh in order to insult him . if there was a problem they should have decided it at an another place, in private not in front of the public like that…. and for katrina i think she should not refuse the yash raj offer as i am an ardent fan of hers and i would like to see her in a new caracter . it was very bad to insult SRK in front of the guests by salman khan. First of all Salman is not coming in way of Katrina’s acting career ( justified by the movies the lady is doing ) secondly he has always been helpful with his girlfriends, be it sangeeta, somi, ashwariya or katrina. I think Salman has a mood swing problem, or is insecure from inside. If you notice that many people say he is a wonderful & kind soul who has helped many in trouble like
a) donates bone marrow
b) gave chance to Govinda to work in Partner
c) gave chance to Himesh Reshammiya
d) gives gifts on his birthday
e) never refuses to help people
and many more. Yet he is also in big controversies like fights, insults that overshadow his good nature. Thus, it can be a mental problem or a harmonal problem. Wish someone could take him to a counselor to help find out the problem.
I can state this with confidence as I have a friend who suffered a lot from mood swings & hormonal problems - was basically good but lost control on her mind and after suffering for nearly 20 years is now taking medication and is improving so much that all the fights, and angry situations have reduced a lot.
Wish someone could tell Salman before he loses out on love again. WOnder why no one has tried to find the root cause of his behavior? I do not think there is any shame to see a counselor, it is better than these situations.

Salman should not pressure katrina after all she is a modern woman old enough to make her own decision (movies are all about acting) so what is the big deal
I think salman khan is doing wrong, this is not the way to keep your gf save from others, you should trust her, and let her continue her career, if after this movie Katrina will become Sharukh’s gf then this is not true love, and she is deceiving you and better is to find good producers to make super hit movies and keep engage Katrina with yourself in those movies not leting the chance for her to act in anyone’s else movie, so this is not the way to limit her acting career, you have to be broad minded your a celebrity common man dont be narrow minded, Sharukh is a great actor and after he is your close friend, dont doubt him, he will gonna make Katrina more famous then she can imagine, and try to trust her and try to understand her, and try to have her in your life, and the best thing is to get married with her, otherwise find a girl who can only marry you and give you what you want, and never let her think of bollywood, you already made a mistake, so do not repeat the same, otherwise your life will be worse then hell, dont be silly, be a super star, and continue have fun.

According to me,Katrina is not at all at fault. Inspite of Kats being his girlfriend, sallu shouldnt interfere in her professional life.And if he is not agreeing with it I would suggest Kat to join with Aamir Khan and see her career rising with flying colours.
