Disney help Aamir Khan increase his bank balance by 4 crore
Major Hollywood studio Walt Disney have bought the international rights to Aamir Khan’s much appreciated Taare Zameen Par.
The studio showed interest in the film as it highlights the issue of dyslexia amongst children and advices on their upbringing. Director Aamir Khan is more than delighted to have his film associated with one of the world’s leading brand names when it comes to children. He says, “Yes, Disney has bought the home video rights of Taare Zameen Par. We (Aamir Khan Productions) are very happy and proud to be associated with Walt Disney. They are the best when it comes to kids. The film has done well in the US and I hope the DVDs do well too.”
The association, which is a first for a Bollywood film, is rumoured to have increased Aamir’s bank balance by Rs 4 crore.
