The shooting of producer Gaurang Doshi’s fourth production Happy Birthday, which was to commence in January 2007, has been postponed to March.
The film, directed by Shriram Raghavan, will star Amitabh Bachchan, John Abraham, Aishwarya Rai and Paresh Rawal. The film will be Doshi’s third venture featuring the Big B.
“The shooting has been postponed to March due to date hassles. But we are working out strategies to complete the movie in a short shooting schedule. We are finalising one more heroine. As the film is made on a wider budget, the scale is bigger than my earlier films. For the first time, we are going in for a co-production. Talks are on with major corporate giants,” says Doshi.
The producer adds, “Happy Birthday is about those who believe in magic, and will never find it.”
