Govinda bags role with Abhishek and Aishwarya
Veteran actor Govinda has finally bagged himself a hard hitting role after nearly 10 years of comedy flicks.
Govinda himself has confirmed that he has signed to star alongside Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai in a film that will be directed by ace film maker Mani Ratnam. Talking about the sensational signing, Govinda says, “Isn’t it every actor’s dream to work with him? We met recently and I heard about my role. It is an interesting and a powerful role.”
Govinda was once before offered a similar role, by Subhash Ghai for Taal. Govinda turned the role down as he wasn’t happy playing second fiddle. Anil Kapoor was then hired and he received critical acclaim for his performance.
