Sunny Deol approaches Karan Johar over Shilpa Shetty’s roles
Sunny Deol has approached fellow film maker Karan Johar and asked him to not release the Abhishek Bachchan starrer Dostana opposite his own home production The Man.
Apparently, Sunny felt that as both films featured Shilpa Shetty then this would not be right or beneficial for either. However, Sunny was worrying for no reason as the release of Dostana turned out to be November 14. "Sunny didn’t want to release The Man around Dostana and now he is relieved. Shilpa’s look and character in both the films are totally different. While in The Man, she plays a prolific actress, in Dostana she will be seen as a glam girl dancing with bikers for an item song," says a source.
The Man is expected to release early 2009.
