Sonu in UK to resurrect the great Rafi
Indian singer Sonu Nigaam is ready to pay tribute to the legendary vocalist Mohammad Rafi by way of a three-concert tour of the UK.
In association with the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra, Sonu will headline the project Rafi Resurrected at Birmingham, Manchester and London. The final show will be recorded by Sony TV for airing later in the year.
Accompanying Sonu will be the versatile female singer Gunjan and together the two will croon to tracks such as “Suhani raat dhal chuki”, “Dil ke jharoke mein”, “Patthar ke sanam”, “Gulabi aankhen” and “Mujhe teri muhabbat ka sahara”.
