Director Ravi Chopra is all set to make a film on the love of an elderly couple titled Patjhad. After casting Amitabh Bachchan and Hema Malini, Chopra is now considering Madhuri Dixit.
Patjhad, based on A.H. Pasha’s book by the same name, will go on floors after the completion of Pappu Paas Ho Gaya (tentative title).
Says Chopra, “Yes, it is true that I am also considering Madhuri for the female lead opposite Amitabh in my next film titled Patjhad. The film will be directed by me.”
Amitabh and Madhuri were to come together in Indra Kumar’s film, also starring Aamir Khan, but the project never took off. Their appearance together is so far limited to ‘Mere Pyar Ka Ras’ in Bade Miyan Chhote Miyan, where director David Dhawan roped her in to perform the song opposite Amitabh Bachchan and Govinda.
