Aamir’s wife to direct hubby and Amitabh in flick

We brought you the exclusive news a few days ago of Aamir Khan drafting up a sci-fi script for a film in which he intends to co-star with legend Amitabh Bachchan, a film which he will also produce, and now we can reveal that the director of this film will be Aamir’s wife Kiran Rao.

Kiran is currently busy working for her debut movie as a director, Dobi Ghaat, which is being co-produced by Aamir Khan, and as soon as she completes this she may decide to direct her husband. Both Aamir and Amitabh have shown interest in sharing screen space and Aamir is eager to get the project of the ground. Aamir himself however does not want to direct this film as he would like to fully commit and concentrate on the acting.

According to rumours the script is about India’s first manned mission to the Moon with Aamir playing an astronaut and Amitabh his commanding officer on Earth. When an accident occurs, it is up to Amitabh to show grit and experience and guide Aamir and his team back to safety.
