Sorry for ur poor knowlege, as u say surnames only goes to dad side in islam , which is wrong. (i m not talking about imran) Khan originally Kha is a moghul(mongol)surname, how come it is a common surname of pathans , muslim rajputs n jats etc. Actually it is a title , evan some hindus have this surname (among some kyastha n rajputs)which they got from muslim rular.

there’s nothing wrong with keeping maternal surname. why is it always necessary to keep father’s surname only, why not mother’s surname? imran has the right to keep either surnames, it’s his wish. why do people have problem?

So that everyone will be sure that he has film background. otherwise wats wrong with who the dad is and who mum is. one should always respect his/her parents. he cut off his relation with his dad by just changing his name poor dad must be very hurt when he noticed his kid removed his name from his name very pathetic. wat goes around always comes around. it’s not abt close indian minded guys. A father is always a father no matter wat and same for mum. But it is true before everyone says bad things abt illegal children but now a days everthing is fine but no one should forget their bases. If one is closer to mum they can have middle name but last name always stands for which family you belong too. It’s a fact. if someone asks wgat is the sky color? It’s Blue bcoz it is blue. But some ppl might like green color but if they say it’s grren sky it’ll be just stupid nthing more than that. Too crzy. Y would u change your surname being a Muslim. Ridicoulous in Muslim culture. Muslims always go by their Father’s last name not unless they r Mistress’s generation. Which means an illegal child. Well he should keep Imran KHAN only if he’s Illegal according to islam. Should ask his mum. It doesn’t matter if your dad is nice with you or not. One other reason could be only that he is too GREEDY for getting Popularity by using KHAN name. As Ofcourse the most POPULAR KHAN ON THIS EARTH IS ONLY IMRAN KHAN A TRUE HERO.
