Akshay Kumar forays his comeback in an romantic action comedy in Anees Bazmee’s directorial venture titled Singh is Kinng produced by his loyal friend director-producer Vipul Shah .
The story of Singh is Kinng revolves around a naughty Sardar Happy Singh (Akshay Kumar) who is sent far away from his village in Punjab to bring back Lakhan Singh aka Lucky (Sonu Sood) back from Australia.
Lucky is an Australian don, who is ruling the Australian underworld activities with the help of his loyalists including Pappi (Javed Jaffrey), Julie (Neha Dhupia), Dilbag Singh (Manoj Pahwa), Pankaj Udaas (Yashpal Sharma), Guruji Gurbaksh Singh (Kamal Chopra) and Raftaar (Sudhanshu Pandey).
Happy Singh is unwillingly accompanied by his friend, Tony Singh (Om Puri). On his journey, Happy meets Sonia (Katrina) and the Punjabi Munda falls in love. After a series of misadventures, Happy reaches Australia and finds shelter under the affection of Rose Lady (Kiron Kher).
