The race to be the first to release the next Sanjay Dutt starrer after Lage Raho Munnabhai is still on.
Last week, Nimbus had announced that 26 January, 2007 would be the release date of its film Sarhad Paar. Now, another producer Mahendra Dhariwal, has announced the release date for his film, Nehle Pe Dehla, which he is confident of releasing on 2 February, 2007. Promos of the film will be telecast on television from 17 December onwards.
“I know Nehle Pe Dehla will be Sanjay Dutt’s first release after Lage Raho Munnabhai. Within two days, we will coming out with a different publicity plan. I have already sold the Mumbai territories to Navkar Finance for Rs 45 million (Rs 4.5 crore) and audio and video rights to T-Series. Within this week, my film will be close for all India rights,” says a confident Dhariwal.
The movie, budgeted Rs 180 million (Rs 18 crore) is directed by Sanjay Dutt’s close friend Ajay Chandok and stars Sanjay Dutt, Saif Ali Khan, Bipasha Basu, Kim Sharma, Mukesh Rishi and Shakti Kapoor.
