The mother of all gameshows in India, ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’ is returning for a fourth run next year, according to reports.
Shah Rukh Khan will remain as the host of the show despite the dismal performance of ‘Kya Aap Paanchvi Pass Se Tez Hai’, which ends on STAR Plus next month. However, the original host Amitabh Bachchan’s name is also said to have come up in discussions between the channel and producers Siddharth Basu’s Synergy Communications.
STAR Plus officials have been concerned over ‘Paanchvi Pass’ poorer TRPs when compared to Salman Khan hosted ‘10 Ka Dum’ on rival Sony Entertainment Television Asia. Incidentally Siddharth Basu is also the producer of ‘10 Ka Dum’.
