The duskily and sexily gorgeous actress Samita Bangargi, who has given her acting’s prowess in many Bollywood flicks some notables are ‘Shaadi Ka Ladoo’ and ‘Ram Ji London Waley’, has now turned designer. Yes, she has launched her collection titled ‘So Sam’some days back in Mumbai. ‘So Sam’ showcases western casuals and festive wear apparels. Married to actor Aashish Chowdhary, Samita has been very enthusiastic and passionate for fashion. She has a keen eye on the fashion industry as to what’s hot and what’s not. The creative sense of designing the outfits utterly depicts from her designed costumes.
About her new profession, the excited Samita chips in, “I have always loved to deign clothes and Niharika Khan of Mogra, Juhu loved my collection so much they decided to launch me itself. I have got some good response and I hope people appreciate my work in designing as well”.
The range aims to be full of attitude, young and trendy with western casuals as well as festive wear for the approaching Xmas season. Naming the band after herself, Just like Samita, the actress is till open to Bollywood and would definitely jump at a great offer if it comes her way.
On the launch, the who’s who of Bollywood, entertainment world and the celebs of various walks of life were seen. Amongst them, the sex bombshell Amrita Arora along with her boyfriend cricketer Usman Afzal, Samita’s hubby Aashish Chowdhary, Sohail Khan, VJ Anusha, Arzoo Govarikar, Ayub Khan, Niharika, Fardeen Khan, Sharmila Tagore, Soha Ali Khan and many others were seen there.
