Ankur (Kay Kay Menon) gets disappeared in Calcutta after he comes back from his honeymoon in Darjeeling. His wife Rimli (Sonali Kulkarni) lends a few clues to inspector Robin Bose. She hints suspicions towards an unknown man who was following her in Darleejing and a taxi driver who had a fight with Ankur.

The mystery travels from Darjeeling to Calcutta looking for answers which are nowhere to be found. Inspector Robin Bose meets some of his friends and narrates them the entire tale.

His friends now try to bring in new dimensions to the mystery by narrating unforeseen circumstances. Each one of them takes a different take on the incident and gives his opinion about the same.

The film is like a mirage where passing time with friends opens various routes to the goal. The interpretation and lateral thinking takes its own height during the conversation which stands out as the highlight of the film.
