EXCLUSIVE REVIEW BY HANUMANT BHANSALI
Its not like a fresh love story gets a banging in Bollywood but it is just the way the story is knitted by the scriptwriter. In Khushboo’s case, the story and direction go completely haywire. More importantly, what did the casting crew find in the faces of newcomers Rishi Rehan and Avantikka?
They lack the charisma that attracts ones attention instantly. The feel-good factor of watching the youngistaan of today perform is lost in the loud make-up or hammy expressions.
Khusboo is of a simple love story about a young and ambitious boy who is on his way to make it big in New York. Raghu gives high priority to his career and nothing comes over it.
However, Raghu’s destiny takes him to Chandigarh before his flight to New York. Here, he comes across Pinky, who steals his heart away with her charisma.
For Raghu, all that matters is Pinky but for the girl, it is her family that tops the priority list. Thereby, she requests Raghu to meet her Punjabi family. Raghu accepts Pinky’s proposal and finds himself in a bond called Punjabi family.
